Toyon: CA native evergreen shrub or small tree. 6-10' tall (or more) x 6-8' wide. Full sun to part shade. Low water. White blooms in the summer attract butterflies and pollinators. Yellow-gold berries in winter. Good hedge plant and can also be kept as a container plant. Seacoast, wind, heat and drought tolerant once established. Deer and fire resistant.
