Gomphrena decumbens

Airy Bachelor's Buttons. Many small flowers per plant, magenta-purple balls. Wiry white stems. A perennial unlike most "Bachelor's Buttons" in the bay area. 3' tall by 8' wide, blooms summer to fall. Cut to ground in winter for fresh growth in the next year. reseeds gently. Full sun to part shade, low to medium water. Deer resistant and drought tolerant. Evergreen.
