Echinopsis spachiana (Golden Torch Cactus)

Evergreen perennial shrub-like cactus forming upright, columnar stems to 6–10' tall x 2–4' wide. Produces large, showy, fragrant white or cream flowers in late spring to summer, often opening at night and attracting pollinators. Good in containers. Can be grown indoors or outside. Full sun to part sun. Low water. Seacoast, heat, wind, sand, and drought tolerant once established. Deer, rabbit, and gopher resistant.
