Gambelia (Galvezia) speciosa 'Firecracker'

Island Bush Snapdragon: CA native evergreen shrub. Has glossy foliage with arching branches and tubular red flowers spring to summer. This cultivar is said to have larger flowers than other cultivars of this plant. Grows 3' tall x 5' wide. Seacoast, wind, clay, sand, heat and drought tolerant once established. Attracts butterflies, bees, and hummingbirds. Full sun to part shade. Low to medium water.
