Furcraea Foetida 'Mediopicta' (aka Cuba Hemp, Mauritius Hemp): Large, evergreen, container, agave-like plant. 4-5' tall by 13' across, leaves 6-8' long. Will become damaged and disfigured in temperatures less than 25 degrees F. When blooming, has a 25' central stalk. Green inconspicuous flowers, very fragrant. green leaf with white stripe. Monocarpic, will die after flowering, but bulbs on flower spike will grow into new plants. Full sun (coast) to part shade (hot inland) and infrequent to medium watering.
