Flannel Bush: CA native Evergreen shrub that grows in a broad “V” shape to 15-20' tall x 15' wide. A hybrid cross between F. californicum and F. mexicanum. Showy large golden orange-yellow flowers with an from spring-summer. Full sun to part sun. Low water. Fast growing. Attracts hummingbirds, birds, bees and butterflies. Seacoast, heat and drought tolerant once established. Does not like to be watered in the summer. Deer, gopher and fire resistant.
