Creeping Red Fescue: Semi-evergreen rhizomatic grass 6-12" tall with vivid silvery blue blades originates from Patrick's Point in Northern CA. Great for meadow effect and as a lawn substitute. Refresh the appearance with occasional mowing. Light green flower spikes age to tan. Full sun to part shade. Protect form the heat. Good in containers. Low to medium water. Attracts birds and pollinators. Seacoast, wind, clay, sand, and drought tolerant once established. Deer, rabbit, gopher and fire resistant.
