Festuca californica 'Phils Silver'

California Fescue: CA native evergreen clumping bunchgrass with long, wide grey-green blades in spring that turn more silver-gray as the season progresses. Arching and fountainlike growth. Grows 30" tall and wide with whitish flower spikes rising to 5' tall from spring-summer. Full sun to part shade. Low to medium water.  Seacoast, sand, wind and drought tolerant once established, but appreciates occasional irrigation. Deer and gopher resistant.
