Euclea pseudebenus

Cape Ebony: A slow growing and long lived evergreen shrub or low branched small tree to 8 to 20" tall. Grey drooping branches so densely covered with narrow lanceolate leaves. Flowering occurs from late winter to late spring with green yellow flowers with fragrance. Full sun, well drained soil low to medium water.
