Red Glow California Poppy: CA native annual or short lived perennial with 2" wide tangerine-red satiny flowers from spring-summer.12" tall and wide. Blue-green foliage. Foliage dies back to the ground at the end of the season but can regrow and reseed. Roots are sometimes used medicinally in teas and tinctures. Attracts birds, butterflies and bees. Full sun, low to medium water. Seacoast, wind, heat, sand, clay and drought tolerant once established. Deer and fire resistant.
