Seacliff Buckwheat: Evergreen CA native mounding sub-shrub to 2′ high and wide. Clusters of white to cream flowers aging to pink or rust tones from spring through fall. Long bloom period. Easy to grow, and will self sow readily. Cut back after flowering to maintain bushiness. Flowers, leaves and seeds attract birds butterflies, and pollinators. Good for containers. Edible and medicinal uses. Full sun to part sun. Low water. Seacoast, wind, heat, sand, clay, and drought tolerant once established. Deer, gopher, and fire resistant.
