Naked buckwheat: CA Native evergreen shrub of the wild buckwheat genus. Rounded clusters of white or pale pink flowers on "naked" stalks in late spring to early summer. Great source of nectar for bees and butterflies. Grey- green foliage. Full sun to part sun. Low to medium water. 2-6' tall x 3' wide. Seacoast, wind, clay, sand, heat and drought and heat tolerant. Deer, gopher, and fire resistant.
