Red Buckwheat: Evergreen CA native groundcover 1’ tall x 3’ wide. Low, dense mound of attractive grey spoon shaped leaves. Magenta flowers from June-October. Full sun to part sun. Low to medium water. Attracts butterflies, bees, and pollinators. Seacoast, wind, clay, sand, heat and drought tolerant once established. Deer, gopher and fire resistant.
