Eriogonum fasciculatum 'Warriner Lytle'

Warriner Lytle Buckwheat: Evergreen CA native mounding sub-shrub 1-2' tall x 4-5' wide. Dark green foliage with white undersides. White flower clusters in late spring, gradually turn pink in summer, then rust colored in fall. The rusty flowers commonly stay on until the next spring. Flowers, leaves and seeds attract birds butterflies, and pollinators. Good for containers and cut flowers. Edible and medicinal uses. Full sun. Low water. Seacoast, wind, heat, sand, clay, and drought tolerant once established. Deer, gopher, and fire resistant.
