Epilobium (Zauschneria) canum 'Cloverdale'

California Fuchsia: Cultivar of UCSC Arboretum originating from North of Cloverdale. Low, slightly mounding fuzzy olive-green foliage with an abundance of orangey-red tubular flowers. Attracts hummingbirds. 12" tall x 30" wide. One of the most orange selections of Epilobium. Full sun to part sun. Seacoast, wind, heat, sand, clay and drought tolerant once established but appreciates occasional irrigation. Deer, rabbit and gopher resistant.
