Epilobium (Zauschneria) canum ssp. canum

California Fuchsia:  Drought tolerant CA native with 1" long tubular red flowers from summer to fall. Soft grayish-green foliage 18" tall x 3-4' wide. Full sun to part sun. Low water. Sand, clay, seacoast, wind, heat and drought tolerant once established, but looks best with occasional irrigation. Deer, rabbit, gopher & fire resistant. Hummingbird, bird, butterfly and pollinator favorite.
