Dietes grandiflora

Fortnight Lily, African Iris, Butterfly Iris: Evergreen rhizomatous perennial with long, upright narrow grass-like leaves that reach 4' tall. Showy white flowers with yellow and blue markings rise above the foliage spring-summer with occasional flowers year round. Attracts hummingbirds, butterflies, bees, and pollinators. Good in containers and for cut flowers. Full sun to part shade. Low to medium water. Seacoast, wind, heat, clay, sand, and drought tolerant once established. Deer, gopher, rabbit and fire resistant.
