Dichondra donelliana

California ponysfoot: CA native. Forms a thick, evergreen, mat-like ground cover of rounded leaves, densely packed along creeping stems. Good for a lawn substitute, or green roofs. Small, interesting greenish-white flowers. Spreads by runners. 3-6" tall. Full sun to part shade. Medium water needs, drought tolerant once established.
