Pacific Bleeding Heart, Western Bleeding Heart: CA native spreading perennial groundcover with attractive lacy foliage 18" tall x 30" wide or more. Bears clusters of pendulous, pink, heart-shaped flowers from early spring to summer. Medium to high water. Part shade to shade. Goes dormant with drought.  Early nectar source for hummingbirds and bumble bees.  Deer, gopher, rabbit, and fire resistant. Can be grown indoors in the right conditions.
