Dendromecon rigida

Mainland Bush Poppy: CA coastal and foothill native evergreen shrub 4-8' tall with evergreen bluish-gray, finely toothed, narrow, lanceolate foliage and a showy display of brilliant yellow, slightly fragrant poppy blossoms from spring to summer. Good for cut flowers. Attracts hummingbirds and pollinators. Full sun, good drainage, and little to no irrigation once established. Seacoast, wind, heat, sand and drought tolerant. Deer, rabbit, gopher and fire resistant.
