Dais cotinifolia

Intensely fragrant "pom-poms" burst into mid-Summer bloom on this rare, yet easy, S. African tree.  Small enough for small gardens, patios and limited spaces, it reaches full size of about 12' in 4-5 years. Round, 3”blush pink starry shaped flower clusters. Not frost hardyor drought tolerant until established. Excellent in a large container (25+ gal). Fertile well-drained soil.
