Dais cotinifolia

Pom-Pom Tree. Intensely fragrant "pom-poms" burst into mid-summer bloom on this rare, yet easy, South African tree.  Small enough for small gardens, patios and limited spaces, it reaches full size of about 12' in 4-5 years. Round, 3” blush pink starry shaped flower clusters. Frost hardy and drought tolerant once established. Attracts butterflies, bees, and other pollinators. Excellent in a large container (25+ gal). Fertile well-drained soil.
