Cotinus coggygria 'Golden Spirit'

Golden Smoke Tree: Deciduous shrub with golden foliage. 7-8' tall x 6' wide or more with time. Foliage emerges a brilliant golden yellow and lime-green and turns to shades of coral, orange and red in the fall. Airy 'smoke puffs' of purplish hairs surround the flowers in late spring and early summer. Good in containers and for cut foliage and flowers. Attracts hummingbirds and pollinators. Full sun to part shade. Low water. Heat, clay, sand and drought tolerant once established. Deer, rabbit and fire resistant.
