Cotinus coggygria "Golden Spirit"

Golden Smoke Tree: A vigorous deciduous shrub with golden foliage. To 7 to 8 feet tall by 6 feet wide. even larger with time. Foliage emerges a brilliant golden yellow and lime-green huescoloring which turns to shades of coral, orange and red in the fall. Airy 'smoke puffs' of purplish hairs surround the flowers which appear in late spring and early summer. Best in part day sun to bright shade in well-drained soil. Low water needs.
