Clinopodium (Satureja) douglasii 'Indian Mint'

Yerba Buena, Indian Mint: CA native in the mint family has a mat-forming trailing habit with dark green, dense fragrant foliage. Great in containers and hanging baskets. Leaves make good tea. White to pale lavender flowers in spring-fall. 2-4" tall x 5' wide. Part sun to part shade. Low to medium water. Seacoast, wind, clay, sand and drought tolerant once established. Deer, rabbit and fire resistant.
