Clematis ligusticifolia

Virgin's Bower: CA native deciduous vine, with divided leaves. Produces large masses of 1" diameter fragrant white flowers in summer. Medium to high water, great for moist areas. Full sun to part shade. Silvery, feather-like fruits. Bird, hummingbird, butterfly and pollinator favorite. Good in containers. Can grow up to 20' or more. Clay, sand, seacoast and drought tolerant once establisehd, but appreciates occasional irrigation.
