Chondropetalum tectorum 'El Campo'

Small Cape Rush: Dense tufted clumps with 2'-3' tall dark green unbranched stems. The dark brown sheaths at the joints drop off in summer leaving a dark band. Arching stems with brown flowers. Great in containers. Full sun to part sun. Medium water. Seacoast, wind, heat, clay, sand, bog and drought tolerant once established but appreciates water. Deer, gopher, rabbit and fire resistant.
