Catalina Cherry, Hollyeaf Cherry: Evergreen CA Native shrub or small tree endemic to the Channel Islands. A great low water needs plant for use as a dense screen planting or as a foundation plant. Reddish purple half inch fruit is edible. Attracts birds, bees and pollinators. White flower. Can grow 15-30' tall. Seacoast, wind, heat, clay, sand and drought tolerant once established. Deer and fire resistant.
