Prostrate Swamp Oak: An interesting low growing evergreen shrub with tiny needle-like blue-green densae foliage that lies nearly flat to the ground and spreads 6-8' wide or more. Good for containers and for cut foliage. Inconspicuous flowers. Full sun to part shade. Low to medium water. Seacoast, wind, sand, clay, heat, and drought tolerant when established. Deer, rabbit, gopher, and fire resistant.
