Bush Anemone: CA native, evergreen shrub 5-7' tall and wide with dark green, leathery, lanceolate shaped leaves. 2-3" wide, sweetly scented, white anemone-like flowers appear in late spring. Full sun to part shade. Low water. Drought tolerant, but appreciates occasional summer water. Hummingbird, bird, bee, butterfly, and pollinator favorite. Great in containers. Seacoast, wind, heat and drought tolerant once established. Moderately deer resistant. Rare in the wild.
