Carex divulsa

Carex divulsa grows in clumps with intermingling narrow foliage. Performs well in shaded areas under trees or use as ground cover on slopes and meadows. A tough and adaptable tufted evergreen growing 12 inches (or more) tall and spreading slowly by underground rootstocks. More agressive and weedy than the very similar native form of this grass that is called Carex tumilicolla.
