Sacred Flower of the Incas: Rare evergreen, multi-branching shrub 6' tall and wide with erect and arching stems with small deep green foliage. 3” long, pendant, magenta-pink trumpet shaped flowers bloom in spring with lesser blooms thereafter. Good for cut flowers, on a trellis or for an espalier. Great in containers. Attracts hummingbirds and pollinators. Full sun to part shade. Medium water. Prefers a cool summer climate like we have in SF. Coast and drought tolerant once established, but prefers regular irrigation. Deer, rabbit, and gopher resistant.
