Australia Compact Canna Lily: Tuberous, rhizomatic, tropical looking perennial with heavy stems to 4' tall that are lined by broad, shiny, dark, pointy bold red purple leaves. Showy, deep orange-red flag like flowers clustered on stalks above foliage in summer and fall, sometimes followed by colorful fruits. Great in containers. Full sun to part sun. Medium to high water. Good cut flower. Deer and rabbit resistant. Clay, sand, heat and bog tolerant. Hummingbird and pollinator friendly.
