Camellia japonica 'Unryu'

Zig Zag Camellia, Contorted Camellia: Slow growing upright evergreen rare shrub or small tree to 8' tall with with twisted zig-zagging stems and glossy, dark green foliage. Single, fragrant, reddish-pink, funnel-shaped flowers bloom in late winter. Great in containers and for cut flowers. Attracts hummingbirds and pollinators. Full sun to part shade. Medium water. Clay and drought tolerant once established, but prefers occasional water. Deer and fire resistant. Can be grown indoors with ample, indirect light.
