Camellia japonica 'Kujaku Tsubaki'

Peacock Camellia: Slow growing weeping evergreen rare shrub or small tree to 8' tall with with glossy, narrow shaped, dark green foliage. Leaves may have yellow markings from a benign virus.  Semi-double, trumpet-shaped flowers are red and mottled with white. Great in containers and for cut flowers. Attracts hummingbirds and pollinators. Full sun to part shade. Medium water. Clay and drought tolerant once established, but prefer occasional water. Deer and fire resistant. Can be grown indoors with ample, indirect light.
