Calibanus hookeri

Evergreen perennial with a large sculptural caudex and long, narrow, grey- green grass-like leaves forming a distinctive fountain-shaped clump to about 1–2' tall and wide. Flowers are inconspicuous. Female flowers bearing red berries. Good for containers and for indoors and outdoors. Full sun to part sun. Low water. Heat, sand, and drought tolerant once established. Deer and rabbit resistant.
