Deciduous annual herb with colorful foliage and a long bloom season of bright yellow to gold and orange flowers, valued for edible culinary and herbal use as well as ornamental display. Commonly grown as an annual or seasonal groundcover and excellent for cut flowers. Full sun to part sun exposure. Medium water. Attracts butterflies, bees, and other pollinators. Good for containers and garden beds. Heat and wind tolerant. Deer and rabbit resistant.
