Blueberry 'Emerald'

Emerald Blueberry: Southern Highbush variety grows 5-6' tall x 4-5' wide, perfect for the mild climate in SF Bay Area, requiring only 150-250 chill hours to produce solid yields of very large blueberries. Semi-evergreen. Attracts hummingbirds, birds and pollinators. Good for cut foliage. Long, tight clusters of berries borne along upright stems. Berries do not ripen uniformly, fruits from mid-July to August. Prefers acidic soil. Full sun to part sun. Medium water. Seacoast, heat and sand tolerant. Fire resistant.
