Blechnum chilense

Chilean Hard Fern: Semi-evergreen.  Bold and exotic looking fern to 3' tall with orange-bronze new growth in the spring and throughout the growing season.  Thick, dark green, crinkly fronds.  Spreads by rhizome. 
For best results, remove older fronds in late winter early spring before flush of new growth. Great for containers. Part shade to shade, medium water.
