Begonia 'Torch'

Easy-to-grow, heat tolerant and relatively disease-free. Blooms are lighter red when grown in deep shade, and the best color comes when it is grown in early morning sun.Huge 4 to 6 inch long, lightly toothed edged, oblong leaves are deep green topside and red-maroon under. Highly ornamental and prized more for the leaves than the florescent flowers, stems are segmented like bamboo and can reach up to 3 feet tall.
