Begonia bowerae 'Leprechaun'

A cultivar of the species commonly known as the Eyelash Begonia or Tiger Paw Begonia, this compact, evergreen perennial tuber has rhizomatic growth and colorful chocolate to bronze-red leaves with red undersides. 10-12" tall and wide. Great trailing plant useful in hanging pots. Small pink or rose flowers. Good indoors or out side in mild climates. Best in part sun to part shade and indirect light. Medium water. Sand tolerant. Deer gopher and rabbit resistant. Toxic to dogs and cats.
