Purple Torch, Blue Mist Flower:  Wide branching evergreen shrub to 8’ tall and wide with giant fragrant purple flowers that are great in flower arrangements. Subtropical relative of Eupatorium. Prefers to be planted in a protected, low wind location with part sun to part shade exposure and consistantly moist, rich soil. Medium water. Seacoast and heat tolerant. Deer, rabbit, gopher and fire resistant.
