Baccharis pilularis (Shrub)

Coyote Bush: Common CA native evergreen shrub 4-6' tall and wide with light green rounded leaves. Seed grown and dioecious, so it may or may not produce cream colored female flowers with fluffy seed heads. Low water. Full sun to part sun. Seacoast, wind, clay, sand, heat, and drought tolerant once established but prefers occasional irrigation. Deer, gopher, and rabbit resistant.  Bee, butterfly, bird and pollinator favorite.
