Astelia 'Silver Shadow'

Silver Astelia: Evergreen clumping grass-like plant with metallic silvery-green recurved leaves. 2-3' tall x 4' wide. Part sun to part shade. Medium water. Seacoast, wind, heat, and drought once established, but prefers occasional water. Deer and gopher resistant. Flowers on this female selection rarely appear, but should they do so they are small yellowish white flowers held within the foliage and are hardly noticeable.
