Astelia chathamica 'Silver Spear'

Silver Spear: Large evergreen clumping grass-like plant with silvery-green recurved leaves (silver below, green on top). 3-4' tall x 4-5' wide. If flowers apperar, they are relatively inconspicuous. Great in containers. Full sun to part shade. Medium water. Seacoast, wind, heat, and drought once established, but prefers occasional water. Deer and gopher resistant.
