Heirloom Asparagus: A female selection that produces large, green pears with purple tips. earlier than other asparagus cultivars. Outstanding flavor. Grows 3-4' tall. Allow 12-24" for spacing. Full sun to pat sun. Medium water. Harvest period is 4-6 weeks. Mature plants will have soft ferny leaves and attractive small red "berries" (unedible).
