Asparagus aethiopicus (densiflorus) 'Sprengeri'

Sprenger's Asparagus Fern: Not a true fern, a member of the lily family. Long arching and cascading stems with short, needle-like leaflets. Great for a hanging basket and for cut foliage. Good indoors or out. Mature plants bloom in summer with tiny, white-to-pale pink flowers sometimes followed by clusters of (poisonous) green berries that turn red in the winter. Medium water. Full sun to shade. Seacoast, wind, heat, sand and drought tolerant once established. Deer, rabbit, gopher and fire resistant.
