Common Thrift, Sea Pink: a compact, low-growing, dense tuft of grass-like, dark green leaves to 5" tall x 12" wide or more. Clusters of ball-shaped 3/4" diameter pink blooms with papery bracts rise 8" above foliage in mid-spring-fall. Deer, gopher and rabbit resistant. Seacoast, fire, sand, clay, heat, wind, and drought tolerant once established. Good for cut flowers, containers and borders. Attracts birds, butterflies and pollinators. Full sun to part sun. Low to medium water.
