Bearberry, Manzanita: CA native groundcover with dark green leaves and pink flowers in early winter. 8” tall x 6' wide. Full sun to part shade. Low to medium water. Deer and gopher resistant. Clay, seacoast, wind and drought tolerant once established. Hummingbird and pollinator favorite.
