Bearberry, Manzanita, Uva-ursi, Kinnikinnick: CA native groundcover with dark green leaves and pink flowers in early winter. 8” tall x 6' wide. Attracts hummingbirds, birds, and pollinators. Edible and medicinal uses. Good for containers. Full sun to part shade. Low to medium water. Seacoast, wind, clay, sand, heat and drought tolerant once established. Deer, rabbit, gopher, and fire resistant.
