Aloysia triphylla (Lippia citriodora)

Lemon Verbena: Easy to grow deciduous shrub or small tree to 6' tall or more. Very fragrant lemon scented foliage and flowers. Used as tea or flavoring. Clusters of small white to cream flowers in summer. Attract hummingbirds, butterflies, bees, and other pollinators. Good for containers and for cut foliage. Can grow indoors or outside. Full sun to part sun. Low to medium water. Seacoast, wind, heat, clay, sand, and drought tolerant once established.
