Aloe marlothii

Red Mountain Aloe, Flat-flowered Aloe: Large, unbranched succulent that can grow up to 10' tall. It has large, gray-green leaves with reddish-brown spines. In late fall to late winter, it produces a wide-spread branching inflorescence reddish-orange to orange-yellow flowers. Low water. Deer, rabbit, and fire resitant. Seacoast, wind, heat, clay and drought tolerant once established. Hummingbird favorite. Great in containers.
