Aloe dorotheae

Sunset Aloe: An attractive yellow to bright orange and reddish colored leaf with spiny margins is an easy, low-growing aloe that suckers and forms clumps of rosettes to 20" wide on short stems to 10" that lie flat to the ground. 1 to 2 foot flower spikes (usually unbranched)  in winter. Dark flower buds are green at the tips. and open Salmon-orange colored flowers with greenish-yellow tipped petals. Plant in full sun to light shade (color much better in full sun) and water occasionally to very little.
