Aloe dorotheae

Sunset Aloe: Attractive, low-growing  spiny Aloe with yellow bright orange and reddish colored leaves that form clumps of short stemmed rosettes 10" tall x 20" wide. 1-2' tall salmon-orange colored flower spikes with greenish-yellow tipped petals in winter attract hummingbirds. Good for containers. Full sun to part sun (foliage color is better in full sun). Low water. Seacoast, wind, heat, sand and drought tolerant once established. Deer, rabbit, gopher and fire resistant.
